The Napier New Zealand classic car club displayed some of their cars so passengers departing the ship could admire them. Napier Port is the shipping gateway connecting the centre of New Zealand with the people and markets of the world. 'Napier is a New Zealand city with a seaport, located in Hawke's Bay on the eastern coast of the North Island. The population of Napier is about 62,800 as of June 2019. About 18 kilometres (11 mi) south of Napier is the inland city of Hastings. These two neighbouring cities are often called "The Bay Cities" or "The Twin Cities" of New Zealand. The total population of the Napier-Hastings Urban Area is 123,960 people, which makes it the sixth-largest urban area in New Zealand, closely followed by Dunedin (104,500), and trailing Tauranga (135,000).' Welcome and thank you for your interest in my photographs. I try to capture the essence of every subject as it actually exists. I rarely alter a picture and minimally, if at all, use post processing. What the observer sees is how it really existed. Most work is accomplished with attention to detail and in-camera composition and framing, rather than post production manipulation (such as Photoshop).
