"kangaroo - Most specifically, any of six large Australasian marsupials of the family Macropodidae. The term is also used broadly to refer to any of the family’s 65 species. Most kangaroos graze on the Australian plains, but tree kangaroos are arboreal; they climb trees and leap from branch to branch. Kangaroos generally have long, powerful hind legs and feet and a long tail, thickened at the base. Welcome and thank you for your interest in my photographs. I try to capture the essence of every subject as it actually exists. I rarely alter a picture and minimally, if at all, use post processing. What the observer sees is how it really existed. Most work is accomplished with attention to detail and in-camera composition and framing, rather than post production manipulation (such as Photoshop).
